Thanks to everyone who's made the last few gigs sell-outs. It's been great playing to full houses and meeting lots of old friends in the process. Have a look at the photos page for links to new pics taken at Leek by Mark Wood. If you've never been to the Swan at Leek, don't hesitate to give it a try; Dave Rhead promotes great gigs there and we found the PA sound absolutely excellent - thanks Jim!
The charity gigs on May 12th are more or less sold out so no further tickets are available from us. It might be possible to get into the Great Budworth afternoon gig but don't travel a long way specially. After that we take a bit of a break until mid June and our traditional Friday night in the British Legion in Middlewich as part of the Folk & Boat festival. This is usually a sell-out so book early if you intend to come to that one.
Please note that we no longer support or endorse any online merchandising outlet as we have had too many problems with unreliable delivery. Any stuff you order on line is at your own risk and we can not assist in any way if you have difficulty with delays or non-delivery. We will post a further announcement later on the year when alternative arrangements are in place but in the meantime do come to a gig and buy the stuff there!
May 12th Charity gig at Hoole Community Centre, Chester
As many of you will recall, we always include at least one major charity effort in every year's calendar and for 2007 we are again raising funds to support cancer charities. At the gig in Chester on May 12th we are delighted to announce that Ben & Joe Broughton will be supporting us and all the money raised will go towards breast cancer care at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets cost £10 each and go on sale on April 23rd. A cheque for the correct money payable to" C.O.C.H. Breast Care, Equipment and Education Fund" needs to be sent to:
Countess of Chester Hospital
He will need an e-mail address to which to reply with a ticket reference number.
The Venue is Hoole Community Centre which holds a maximum of 180. We're expecting a lot of local sales so if you want tickets for this event contact Andy as soon as possible after April 23rd.
